Western Wayne County Therapeutic Recreation (WWCTR) This program is a county endorsed grant funded primarily through the Wayne County Parks millage. The grant was developed to provide positive and appropriate leisure services to individuals with disabilities. Current participating communities are: Redford Township, Canton Township, City of Canton, City of Dearborn, City of Plymouth, City of Northville, Northville Township, Van Buren Township, City of Livonia, City of Westland, and the City of Wayne. We provide and supervise Athletic Programs, Township Parks, Leisure Programs and Holiday Events. Leisure Services Mike Dennis, Community Development Director Theresa Burgess, Youth Services Advisor Scott Gray, Recreation Supervisor Marcia Kish, Special Events Coordinator Dorothy Morris, Senior Services Advisor Park Commission meetings are held the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 7:00pm in Meeting Room-C at the Redford Township Community Center.
